What is Notice Period Buyout?
Notice period buyout means paying your current employer for the remaining notice days so you can leave early. The cost is calculated as (Monthly Salary / 30) × Remaining Days. Some new employers reimburse this amount as a joining bonus.
Tips for Freshers Switching Jobs
Negotiate notice period reduction with your manager. Many companies allow early release for freshers (0–1 year experience). Always get the early release in writing. If your new company has a tight joining deadline, discuss buyout reimbursement during offer negotiation.
